DETAILS OF THE SKILL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR EACH POST:
Minimum of 2 – 3 years cognate experience in the related industry
HND, BSc, BTech, BA, BEd, MSc, MA, etc.
Professional qualifications will be an added advantage
Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
Working knowledge of programming.
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
Good organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

DETAILS OF DUTIES:
SOFTWARE TESTER

• To review software requirements and prepare test scenarios;
• To execute tests on software usability;
• To analyse test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability;
• To prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team;
• To interact with clients to understand product requirements;
• To participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, product design, and potential problems;
• To design testing scenarios for usability testing;
• To be responsible for conducting the testing, thereafter analyze the results, and then submit his observations to the development team;
• To interact with the clients to better understand the product requirements or in case the design requires any kind of modifications;
• To be responsible for creating test-product documentation and participating in a testing-related walkthrough;
• To create test designs, test processes, test cases, test data and carry out testing as per the defined procedures;
• To participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures and prepare all reports related to software testing carried out;
• To ensure that all tested-related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures;
• To understand the requirements and design test procedures and test cases for automated software testing;
• To design automated test scripts that are reusable and ensure that all automated testing-related activities are carried out as per the standards defined by the company.
SYSTEM ENGINEER
• To collect information on systems-level project specifications, performance requirements, and known capabilities and limitations;
• To determine hardware system status and limitations by gathering and evaluating information on a variety of factors including security and reporting needs;
• To review and modify existing systems software to improve performance, correct errors, and conform with compatibility requirements of available hardware;
• To determine the feasibility of proposed system modifications or design, ensuring the needs and requirements of the user will be met within time and cost requirements;
• To design systems software to meet project requirements, collaborating with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and other developers as needed;
• To develop and lead software system testing and validation procedures; compile relevant documentation;
• To use mathematical models and scientific analysis to predict and measure consequences and other outcomes of software system design;
• To coordinate and schedule the installation of a software system;
• To train, or provide training documentation to users on new or modified systems and networks;
• To perform other related duties as assigned.
