Proficient in MS Project or related software.

Thorough understanding of computer engineering principles and procedures.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

DETAILS OF DUTIES:
WEB DESIGN CONSULTANT/WEB DESIGNER/MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPER

• To take a lead in maintaining and developing a site;
• To attend meetings with clients to plan and develop website style and appearance;
• To use content management systems (CMS);
• To analyse statistics about who is using the website;
• To write reports for managers, clients, and partners;
• To report technical problems to IT support staff;
• To take a key role in the design and layout of a website;
• To create Photoshop Design Files (PSDs) for visual layout of web pages and converting designs into HTML and CSS;
• To work with other teams to meet company-wide targets;
• To use web content management systems;
• To implement and maintain high-quality SEO policies and incorporate them with web content;
• To report to senior management or clients;
• To collect and analyse data on website usage to improve performance;
• To respond to reports of technical problems and work with the team to fix them quickly;
• To liaise with Copywriters, Graphic Designers, and Developers to ensure that tasks are completed on time;
• To meet clients to discuss their requirements and agree a brief;
• To produce sample sites;
• To keep clients up to date with the progress;
• To research user journey needs and test site functionality and usability;
• To demonstrate and receive feedback about draft sites;
• Keeping up to date with design trends and technological, software, and accessibility developments;
• To advise clients on search engine optimisation;
• To design graphics and logos, digital retouch, and image editing;
• To provide training and/or support once the site is signed off.
MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPER
• To talk with clients to understand their requirements;
• To investigate, and recommend appropriate equipment and software to achieve the required objectives;
• To prepare code to produce the multimedia product;
• To prepare digital graphics, animations, sound, video, photographs, and images for editing;
• To prepare design concepts;
• To design, create, and test complete and fully working prototypes;
• To track all changes with the multimedia project;
• To be responsible for all changes, upgrades and post-delivery patch solutions;
• To meet all project deadlines and development timetables.
